WDA-A General Assembly
“DANCE: Weaving life with movement”
For the first time in Guatemala, the World Dance Alliance-Americas Section (World Dance Alliance / Americas-WDAA) , in partnership with the Research Center for Dance and Movement Rafael Landivar University , celebrates its General Assembly from 11 to August 14, 2011 . From the lemma, Dance: Weaving life with motion , the House becomes an academic event that seeks to promote artistic exchange between dance professionals and other related fields to work through movement in building societies human, creative and ammonium.
The academic event takes place at the Training Centre of the Spanish Cooperation in Antigua Guatemala and the Central Campus of the URL. It brings together national and foreign experts through lectures, master classes, panels and conferences, sharing their knowledge and experience of dance and its connection with the creation, education, health, history and social problems in general.
For its part, the art event “Weaving life movement” , brings together choreographers and dance groups enrolled in the Assembly from the United States, Taiwan, Bolivia, Costa Rica and Guatemala. These choreographers and choreographers share with the general public about their creative work to personal and group experience to discover the joy of life through movement.
